To get enrolled
in any postgraduate diploma, the student is
expected to hold a Bachelor degree obtained from
one of the universities of Egypt or hold an
equivalent degree from another accredited
university.
Applicants from
a different field of specialization can be
admitted on condition that they take certain
qualifying preliminary courses in accordance
with the requirements of a specific department.
Enrollment: Master's

The student is

the Egyptian Universities subject to the
Universities Regulations and Law or an
equivalent degree in addition to obtaining good
in the Specific Diploma of African Studies.

Doctorate Degree
The applicant is
expected to hold the Master's Degree in African
studies obtaining "good" or hold an equivalent
degree; as for international students, they are
expected to hold a Master's Degree obtaining
"good" or hold an equivalent degree in addition
to passing the exams of the complementary
courses in the discipline of African studies
required and decided on by the Department
Council. Other requirements may be added, such
as passing oral or written exams.
Dar El Ulum Faculty
Enrollment requirements:
Diploma
To get enrolled
in any postgraduate diploma, the student is
expected to hold a Bachelor degree obtained from
one of the universities of Egypt or hold an
equivalent degree from another accredited
university.
Applicants from
a different field of specialization can be
admitted on condition that they take certain

in the Master's degree Preliminary year, the
student is expected to hold the Bachelor of Arts
in Arabic Language and Literature, in the
Islamic Sciences from the universities of
Egypt or from a similar accredited academic
institute or obtain good in the Specific Diploma
from Dar El Ulum.

The student is
expected to hold a Master's degree obtaining at
least good from one of the universities of
l-Egypt or hold an equivalent degree from
another accredited university to get enrolled as
a doctorate student.
Faculty of Agriculture

enrolled to obtain the Master's degree in
Archaeology or in the Restoration of monuments,
the student is expected to hold a Bachelor of
Archaeology or Restoration of monuments or the
Postgraduate Diploma of Archaeology or
Restoration of monuments from one of the
universities of Egypt or hold an equivalent
degree from an accredited academic institute.
Enrollment:
Doctorate Degree
To get enrolled
as a doctorate student in Archaeology or the
Restoration of monuments the applicant is
expected to hold a Master's Degree in
Archaeology or in the Restoration of Monuments
obtaining at least "good" from one of the
universities of Egypt or an equivalent degree
from another intuition accredit by Cairo
University or to hold the Diploma of the
Restoration of Monuments that is equivalent to
the Master's Degree though not equivalent to the
Doctorate Degree in the Restoration of
Monuments.
The student is
to be enrolled in the department where he
obtained the Master's Degree.
Faculty of Arts

student is expected to hold the Bachelor of
Commerce in the branch which he applies for
obtained from one of the universities of Egypt
subject to the Universities Regulations and Law
or an equivalent degree from another accredited
academic institute.
2- The
student is expected to hold the Bachelor of
commerce, in a discipline other than the one
obtained from one of the universities of Egypt
or hold an equivalent degree obtained from
another accredited academic institute on
condition that the student passes the exams of
the obligatory complementary courses in
accordance with the system decided on by the
Faculty Council according to the proposal of the
specific department council.
3- The
student is expected to obtain at least very good
in one of the Higher Applied Diplomas relevant
to the branch for which he applies in addition
to holding the Bachelor of Commerce as the first
degree.
4- The
student is expected to hold a first degree in a
branch other than commerce from one of the
universities of Egypt or another accredited
academic institute in addition to passing the
exams of the required complementary courses
according to the proposal of the specialized
department council approved by the Faculty
Council.
5- The
student is expected to hold a first degree in
from one of the universities of Egypt or from an
accredited academic institute in a branch other
than that of commerce in addition to obtaining
at least very good in one of the postgraduate
Applied Diplomas relevant to the branch and to
passing the exams of the required complementary
courses proposed by the special department
council and approved by the Faculty council.

Degree
1- The
student is expected to hold the Bachelor degree
obtained from one of the universities of Egypt
in a branch similar to the one he applies for or
hold an equivalent degree.
2- The
student is expected to hold the Bachelor degree
obtained in a specialization different from the
one he applied for and should pass the exams of
the complementary courses that are set as
obligatory according to the\ Faculty council in
accordance with the proposal of the specific
Department Council.
3- Students
who hold the Bachelor of Economics, or
Statistical Studies or Politic Science are
accepted in the Public Administration Department
on condition the they pass the complementary
exams that are set as obligatory as decided by
the Faculty council according to the proposal of
Department Council.
4- Students
who hold the Bachelor of Economics, c
Statistical Studies, c Political Science,
obtained from one of the universities of Egypt,
or an equivalent degree are accepted in the
department of Compute Science Applications in
the field of Social Sciences. A for the students
who did not take a minor specialization in the
computer science Applications in the field of
social sciences, they are accepted in the
Department of Computer Science Applications in
the field of social sciences, they are accepted
in the Department of Computer Science
Applications in the field of Social Sciences on
condition that they pass the exams of the
complementary courses set as obligatory as
decided by the faculty council in accordance
with the proposal of the specific department.

A. Students who hold
the Bachelor degree in other branches may be
accepted as follows:
· Students who hold the
Bachelor of Engineering or Science (Pure
Mathematics Department) or Military or Air Force
Academy are accepted in the Statistics
Department.
· Students who hold the Bachelor of Engineering,
Commerce, Science (Pure Mathematics Department),
Agriculture (Agronomy Department) or Law are
accepted in the Economics Department.
· Students who hold the Bachelor of Arts
(Departments of History, Geography, Philosophy,
psychology, Sociology, Mass Communication) or
the Bachelor of Law or of Mass Communication as
well as those who obtained the Bachelor from the
Military Academy or an equivalent Bachelor
degree in the sciences of Law and Police
Education are accepted in the Department of
Political Science.
· Students who hold the Bachelor of Computer
Science and Informatics, Engineering (Computer
Science and Communications), Science (Pure
Mathematics Department), Commerce, Mass
Communication, Archaeology, Regional and Urban
Planning, or the Bachelor of Law or Arts are
accepted in the Department of Computer Science
Applications in the field of Social Sciences.
· Students who hold the Bachelor of Medicine,
Engineering, Commerce, Mass Communication, or
Law are accepted in the Public Administration
Department. In all previously mentioned cases,
the student must pass the exams of the
complementary courses that are set as obligatory
according to the Faculty Council in accordance
with the proposal made by the specific
Department Council.
B. As for the student's
Enrollment for the Master's Degree in the field
of Euro -Mediterranean Studies, the student is
expected to hold:
· The
Bachelor Degree in any of the Major branches of
the Faculty of Economics and Political Science,
or the Bachelor of Commerce or Mass
Communication, the Bachelor of Law. Arts or the
Bachelor from Al -Alsun Faculty (Departments of
European Languages).
As for the
student who does not hold a Bachelor degree in
European Languages from the faculty of Arts or
Al -Ulum Faculty, the student should obtain the
TOEFL with a score of at least 500 or obtain an
equivalent degree.
Enrollment:
Doctorate Degree
To get enrolled
as a doctorate degree student in the fields of
economics, statistics, political science, public
administration or the applications of computer
science in social sciences, the applicant:
a-Is expected to
hold the Master's Degree in one of the
abovementioned branches
obtaining "good"
from one of the universities of Egypt or an
equivalent degree.
b-May get the
approval of the Faculty Council on the proposal
of the Public Administration Department, to get
enrolled as a doctorate student in the Public
Administration Department on condition that the
applicant obtains "good" in the Master's Degree
in political science or economics, or
statistics, business administration, law from
one of the universities of Egypt or an
equivalent degree in addition to passing the
exams of the complementary courses decided on by
the Faculty Council according to the proposal
made by the Department Council.
C-May get the
approval of the Faculty Council, on the proposal
of the Council of the Department of Computer
Science Applications in Social Sciences, to get
enrolled as a doctorate student in the
Department of Computer Science Applications in
Social Sciences, on condition that the applicant
holds the Master's Degree in economics political
science or statistics, public administration,
accounting, business administration, computer
science, engineering (Computers and
Communications), mathematics, mass
communication, arts, law, archaeology, or urban
planning obtaining "good" from one of the
universities of Egypt, or holds an equivalent
degree in addition to passing the complementary
exams decided on by the Faculty Council
according to the proposal made by the Department
Council.
Faculty of Engineering

expected to hold a Bachelor degree obtained from
one of the universities of Egypt or hold an
equivalent degree from another accredited

Cancer Institute
Enrollment requirements:

expected to hold a Bachelor degree obtained from
one of the universities of Egypt or hold an
equivalent degree from another accredited
university.

admitted on condition that they take certain
qualifying preliminary courses in accordance
with the requirements of a specific department.
Enrollment: Master's
Degree
· The
student is expected to hold the Bachelor of
Medicine and Surgery from one of the
universities of Egypt or an equivalent
degree from another academic institute
accredited by the university (of Cairo).
· As
for the Master's Degree in Epidemiology and
Cancer Combat, the student is expected to hold
the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery or the
Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine or
Veterinary Medicine or Science or Nursing
obtained from one of the universities of
Egypt or obtain an equivalent degree.
· The
student is expected to spend the internship
period (one year) or its equivalent.
The student
should obtain a sabbatical leave for at least
one year through the second part (2 terms).
Enrollment:
Doctorate Degree
First: To get
enrolled as a doctorate degree student, the
applicant is expected to hold the Master's
Degree in the same branch from one of the
universities of Egypt or an equivalent degree
from an accredited academic institution
particularly in the following branches:
1. Master of
Surgical Oncology.
2. Master of
Oncology.
3. Master of
Pediatrics Oncology.
If the applicant
has obtained the master of general surgery, of
internal medicine or pediatrics, he is to be
exempted from the respective equivalent courses
in masters of surgical oncology, or pediatric
ecology.
4. Master of
Radiotherapy.
5. Master of
Clinical and Chemical Pathology (When applying
for enrollment as a doctorate degree student in
Clinical Pathology and Cancer Analyses.
6. Masters of
Anesthesiology when applying for enrollment as a
doctorate student in Anesthesiology and Pain
Management.
Second: To get
enrolled as a doctorate degree student in
Oncological Pathology, the applicant is expected
to hold a good Master's Degree in Basic Medical
Sciences from one of the universities of Egypt
or another accredited academic institute.
Third To get
enrolled as a doctorate student in Basic
Sciences of Oncological Pathology the applicant:
a- Should
specialize in Medical Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology, should be a graduate of one of the
following faculties:
Medicine -
Veterinary Medicine - Pharmacy – Science
(Departments of Biochemistry Biological
Chemistry) and is expected to hold a good
Master's Degree in biochemistry or biological
chemistry or molecular biology, medical
chemistry.
b-Should
specialize in Pharmacology and Experimental
Medicine should be a graduate of one of the
following faculties:
Medicine -
Pharmacy -Veterinary Medicine - and is expected
to hold a good Master's Degree in pharmacology.
c-To specialize
in Virology and Immunology, should be a graduate
of one of the following faculties: Science
(Departments of Microbiology or Chemistry /
Microbiology) - Medicine -Veterinary Medicine
-Pharmacy and is expected to hold a good
Master's Degree in microbiology.
Graduates of the
following faculties: Medicine, Pharmacy,
Veterinary Medicine, Science, are allowed to
enroll as doctorate students in oncological
biology in the various branches where those who
have obtained the common Master's Degree in
(new) biotechnology are enrolled regardless of
their specialization in the bachelor degree
National Laser Institute
Enrollment requirements:
Diploma
To get enrolled
in any postgraduate diploma, the student is
expected to hold a Bachelor degree obtained from
one of the universities of Egypt or hold an
equivalent degree from another accredited
university.
Applicants from
a different field of specialization can be
admitted on condition that they take certain
qualifying preliminary courses in accordance
with the requirements of a specific department.
Enrollment: Master's
Degree
A. The student
is expected to hold the Bachelor degree obtained
from one of the universities of Egypt subject
to the Universities Regulations and Law or an
equivalent degree in one of the branches decided
on in each department.
B. The student
is expected to hold a Diploma (with the grade B)
obtained from the Institute in one of the
branches of the department to be enrolled in.
Enrollment:
Doctorate Degree
To enroll as a
doctorate student in science, the applicant is
expected to hold:
a-The Master's
Degree in laser science from one of the
departments of the Laser Institute or an
equivalent degree from one of the universities
subject to the universities regulations and laws
or from another accredited academic institute.
b-The Master's
Degree in the specialization from one of the
universities subject to the universities
regulations and law or an equivalent degree from
another accredited academic institution in
addition to studying courses equivalent to 12
credit hours of the Diploma courses to be
decided on by the specialized departments.
